There is something special about having a place in the mountains. Whether it’s a second home or a permanent move, it represents a new chapter, a change of pace, and the opportunity to enjoy life in a place you love.
Christine understands that feeling because her own journey to Southwest Colorado began with the same dream.
Born and raised in Montana, Christine developed a love for the mountains early in life. After graduating from Montana State University with a degree in Interior Design, she moved to Portland, Oregon, where she built her career specializing in renovations and whole-home furnishings. It was there that she met her husband, Judd, who asked her to move to Texas with him. When he proposed, she made him promise that one day he would move her back to the mountains.
They spent many wonderful years in Houston, Texas, raising their family while Christine continued working with homeowners and builders in the luxury new-construction market.
Eventually, Judd fulfilled that promise, and they made their home in the San Juan Mountains of Southwest Colorado.
Today, Christine has the privilege of helping others create homes that reflect their own dreams of mountain living.
With more than 25 years of experience in interior design, she brings expertise in luxury renovations, new construction, and whole-home furnishings and decor. Her approach combines thoughtful planning, attention to detail, and a love for creating warm, polished interiors that feel personal to the people who live in them.

Judd Heartsill
Judd is the “Captain of the Ship” at Mountain Luxe Interiors. He has devoted his career to providing people with reliable and affordable energy through the oil and gas industry in offshore drilling.
He now brings his management skills “onshore” ensuring all things behind the design scenes at MLI are “smooth sailing” (Gotta love mariner puns).
Judd is the rock of the family and the business. He’s patient, kind, and one of the most genuine people you will ever meet. He is a wonderful husband, father, and business partner.
Just like Christine, Judd too has a love for the mountains and takes time out of his busy schedule to enjoy all the San Juans have to offer such as hiking and jeeping with his family.
When he and Christine moved to Colorado he took over the day-to-day operations of the business to free Christine up to focus on her clients and the creative aspects of their Design Business.
