Who is behind Mountain Luxe Interiors?

Christine Heartsill

Interior Designer

Christine is a leading interior designer in Southwest Colorado (Durango, Pagosa Springs, Telluride and everywhere in between!) working for high-profile clients with a focus on luxury renovations, high-end new construction, and extraordinary residential interior design.

She is lauded by her clients for creating beautiful, warm, polished dream homes through her keen eye for detail, exquisite use of furnishings and accessories, and creative command of all interior design styles from traditional to modern.

Being born and raised in Montana nurtured the beginning of Christine’s love for the mountains. She loves the crisp mountain air, gorgeous vistas, and all of the fun outdoor adventures the mountains have to offer.

After graduating from Montana State University with her degree in Interior Design, she moved to Portland, Oregon to continue growing as an interior designer. There she spent many years specializing in home renovations, and whole home furnishings and decor.

While in Portland, Christine met and married the love of her life, Judd, and moved to Houston Texas to be with him.

During those years in Houston, she continued to serve homeowners and builders in the luxury new-build market with exceptional design services.

But something was still just not quite right in her life…

When Judd proposed to Christine, she made him promise that he would one day move her back to the mountains.

After many wonderful years in Texas, Judd fulfilled his engagement promise and now they reside in the San Juan Mountains of Southwest Colorado living their dream mountain life!

It’s here where she helps other “mountain lovers”

be surrounded by beauty in their mountain homes!

Judd Heartsill

Judd is the “Captain of the Ship” at Mountain Luxe Interiors. He has devoted his career to providing people with reliable and affordable energy through the oil and gas industry in offshore drilling.

He now brings his management skills “onshore” ensuring all things behind the design scenes at MLI are “smooth sailing” (Gotta love mariner puns).

Judd is the rock of the family and the business. He’s patient, kind, and one of the most genuine people you will ever meet. He is a wonderful husband, father, and business partner.

Just like Christine, Judd too has a love for the mountains and takes time out of his busy schedule to enjoy all the San Juans have to offer such as hiking and jeeping with his family.

When he and Christine moved to Colorado he took over the day-to-day operations of the business to free Christine up to focus on her clients and the creative aspects of their Design Business.
